Name: Tabea - ADOPTED 05.22.16
Rescue ID: D160115
Status: Adopted!
Adoption Fee: 300
Species: Dog
Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (short coat)
Sex: Female (spayed)
Current Size: 20 Pounds
Current Age: 9 Years (best estimate)
Microchipped: Yes
Description:

Tabea is a sweet gal who was given up to the shelter because the owner who bought her, thought they were buying an English Mastiff, which she clearly is NOT.

She is a very happy and friendly dog. So friendly, that she can not control herself when she is around people and she jumps up quite a bit. She is also a typical puppy and tends to enjoy chewing on peoples hands to soothe her gums, while her adult teeth come in. We are working on getting her to remember to use toys/bones instead.

She loves to play with the other dogs in our home, and would do well with almost any dog who is also playful and tolerant of puppy antics.

She loves to go for walks (and needs to with her energy), and does well on the leash. She even will sit before crossing streets, if you tell her to. She also enjoys running after a ball, but sometimes forgets to bring it back.

If you have any questions, please email the foster at Lddr.amy@gmail.com

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
