Description:
My name is Moose. My foster mom can't get over what a beautiful girl I am. She thinks I have the most intelligent face and eyes, and such a stunning coat (it sparkles silver in the right light). I'm a quiet girl, but very adventurous. I was the first to scale the baby gate and go exploring the apartment, and I'm always interested in new toys and things that move. That said, I'm still a little unsure about people. I've made a lot of progress in the short time that I've been in my new foster home, but my new people should plan on taking things slow with me. It's clear that I'm curious about people, but for the moment I have my reservations. I will absolutely come around, but I may never be the sit on your lap all day kind of gal.

The resident dog is a different story. I'm quite interested in him, and keep trying to make friends. I like his fluffy tail, and wish he would sit still while I played with it. I'm not even phased when he barks anymore. I would be a GREAT companion for another animal (cat or dog by the looks of it).

I'm completely litter box trained, and so far have been a good girl about using the scratching post to flex my claws. Speaking of claws, I'm even very good about having them cut. I certainly don't love it, but I don't throw a fuss about it either.

I also love to play, and the best way to get me to interact with you is with toys. My foster mom thinks I'll be a pro mouser (if that's something that's important to you). My confidence is boosted by other furry friends so I'd love to have another four-legged buddy in the home.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
