Description:

Hi, my name is Paisley! I came to LDDR from our friends at CHAINED after spending my entire life chained to a fence outside. Once CHAINED realized I had given birth to a litter of seven beautiful puppies outside in the elements, they were able to talk my owners into allowing us into the garage until I could wean my babies. They saved our lives by getting us out of the cold. LDDR was able to find loving forever homes for all of my babies and now it's my turn!

Because I spent my entire life until now outside by myself, I am still warming up to the idea of humans. New people have to spend a lot of time showing me that they are safe before I'm ready to approach them. But, I'm totally worth the effort because once I decide to trust a person, I am so sweet and fun!

I'm great with other dogs, I love to run and play and I even share my toys without complaining. I have recently been learning how to live with cats and I'm pretty good at it! It would probably be best if I only live with adults since I need to be approached so slowly and thoughtfully.

I'm crate trained, potty trained, and muzzle trained I am super smart and eager to please when I feel safe and trust the people around me!

Applicants willing to enroll this puppy in training classes will be given preference.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
