Description:
Well how are you today?  Myself, I am just fine and dandy.  My name is Herbert, which is one of the Muppet's :-)  but my human sister, who is 12 years old and loves to hold and cuddle me, named me Double Toes because I have 6 toes on each foot!!!   I have 2 brother's and 2 sister's and we all just love to play, take a nap and then play some more.

I eat puppy food with lots of water to drink, sometimes Mom comes out and plays with us in the back yard and we get a drink of milk.  Great stuff, milk is.   I am 6 weeks old as of September 27th, I will be able to leave for my new home when I am 8 weeks old.  By posting my picture and a wee bit about myself I can get my new family all picked out.   I have had my 1st puppy shot, and I have my micro chip all done.  I have also been wormed 3 times.

See you soon,
Herbert or Double Toes:)

Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive  preference.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags, the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
