Description:

Casper is a 4 year old neutered male cat, possibly a lynx point ragdoll. He has beautiful soft cream colored fur with darker paws and tail and wise blue eyes. Casper was an owner surrender to LDDR twice; his first family couldn’t give him the attention he craves due to a new baby and he was trying to physically dominate the older cat in his second home.

In spite of the bumps in his road, Casper is an incredibly sweet boy. It may take him a few days to warm to a new situation, but when he does he redefines what it means to cuddle! He is a love bug, he loves sitting with his people and snuggling in as close as he can get. Casper’s favorite toys are a ball with a jingle bell inside and a mouse with feathers. He also enjoys being petted and having his gorgeous fur brushed.  He can be picked up and held but doesn't like to be held for too long.  Casper would do well with children, more hands to be petted with!  He has been fed grain free food.

Casper has lived with other cats and gets along with them, although his previous owners mentioned he can be a food hog.  As with many cats, he is fearful of the vacuum cleaner. He is a litterbox trained medium cat, not too big, not too small! He would love to meet you soon!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags, the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The  petfinder.com   system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
