Meet Olivia, a happy tuxedo girl looking for a permanent home. She has been living with foster for a little over a month now and her personality is becoming apparent. She loves human attention and lots of pets around her head. She is very social and will come to you if you give her the time and space to feel secure. Once she is relaxed enough she will ask for belly rubs! If you move slowly and pay attention she will reward you by running her motor. She likes to interact and play on her own schedule. Considering many cats are more active at night, the best times for play might be before you go to bed or first thing in the morning. Olivia also likes to play on her own so you may hear her pushing around a ping pong ball at 3 am. She thinks the best time to play is when she is in the mood for fun. Olivia has excellent litter habits and is not a fussy eater. She loves her canned foods and other scraps of homemade foods. Olivia is slowly being introduced to her foster's resident dogs and so far has not met them face to face. There is no hurry, she is the best one to decide when that first visit happens. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
