Description:
Hi, I'm Gambit!
I am your typical puppy with a lot of energy and LOVE to play, wrestle, and run around with other dogs, so a family with another dog and a fenced yard is a must for me. I am super friendly (love meeting new people and dogs), sweet as can be, and affectionate…kisses anyone?! I do this cute little combat crawl just to get closer to you. I love to be outside to play, run, or just chill in the grass chewing on a Nylabone or stick. I am learning to play fetch and like to play in the kiddie pool and bite at the water coming out of the sprayer. After a fun day of playing, I just want to cuddle up next to you on the couch, chair, floor, bed…well, really anywhere! I get along with dogs of all sizes and am currently playing with four other dogs in my foster home and also get to play with my foster mom’s neighbor’s dog too! Our neighbor also has these other furry creatures my foster mom calls cats. I sure do find them interesting, not to hurt them, but try to get them to play with me. They are quite curious and make some very unusual noises…I think they are saying they want to play with me too ;) I am smart boy and my foster mom is teaching me some basic commands and tricks. I know sit, down, and wait and we are working on come, leave it, and shake. I would love to continue my training and socialization with other dogs and people with my forever family! Did I mention I LOVE saying hello to everyone?! I am housetrained and crate-trained and will sleep through the night without any accidents. But, since I am still fairly young, I need to be let out during the day (at least every 4 hours) for potty breaks and exercise. I am ready to share all my love, cuddles, and kisses with my Fur-ever Family…could it be you? Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive preference
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
