Description:
Hi everyone! My name is Nami, it means "wave" in Japanese. Maybe because I'm a wave of energy! I am still only a kitten at 6 months old so I still have a bit of energy. I was found out on the streets in the freezing temperatures this winter. My finder was a past LDDR adopter, she couldn't leave me out there, so she took me in and then a really nice foster through LDDR decided to foster me! They gave my owner some time to come forward an posted everywhere, but no one came. That's alright, now I just need a forever home!

I LOVE other cats. There is another black kitty in my foster home and he is awesome. We just love to run around and play together. He is up for adoption too, his name is Randal. If you have a kitty friend in your home, that would be awesome for me so that we can get our energy out together by playing! I am not sure how I am with dogs, I haven't met one of those yet, but because I am quite young, with the proper introductions (and as long as the dog is friendly) I should adjust just fine! I haven't been around kids either yet, but I am a really sweet girl so I am sure they would be fine.

I use my litter box without any issues. I have been using that for a long time!

I am a very good girl. I really like cuddles from humans. Like I said, I am still pretty young so I don't really sit still long enough for me to be on your lap a lot, but as I get older, I likely would be a great lap cat. I am such a sweet girl that just wants a good pat. I am very friendly with everyone.

Maybe I am your perfect companion! Every home needs a miniature panther! Check out some of the reasons to adopt a black kitty. Unfortunately, we are often overlooked and I am not sure why. I have been told my some of the volunteers and fosters that black kitties are the best!

So what do you think? If you would like to meet me, please submit an application and then we can set up a time for you to come and see if I am your future companion! I hope to meet you soon, I would really love a forever home of my own. I promise that you won't regret adding a cute kitty like me to your home!

Love,
Nami

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs/Cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
