Description:
Meet Magnum, aka Yoda! He is 2-3 years old, neutered and needs a running or biking partner! He is a petite 50 pounds but still has room to put on a few pounds of muscle.

Magnum has come so far since his rescue. He is becoming a very well balanced dog. He has been to training and doggie daycare and does fantastic in both settings. He will thrive with further training; please consider agility training for him due to his intelligence, athleticism and good nature! He has responded immensely to positive reinforcement.
He enjoys living with our dogs and cats. He's completely house trained, he will tell you when he wants to go out, and never once has he chewed up our shoes, remotes, or any thing (well occasionally he thinks his leash is a toy) in fact he cherishes his toys, is learning all the different names for them, and has learned how to squeak them on his own. This is a big step from his early days when he didn't know how to squeak a toy.

When visitors come he gets a little excited but he has moved past his old fear and now it's great curiosity for him. He has been enjoying meeting new people and checking out different settings.

Magnum is a real spokesperson for the value of rescued dogs. Affectionate, cuddly, funny, mostly polite, he will be a wonderful addition to an active loving family. He doesn't enjoy the weather too much- he is a real cream puff- and would prefer sleeping in a warm place, like in your bed if you let him. Happy tails!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
