Hi, and how are you today?  Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Neptune and I am one happy guy:-)  I am about 8 months old and am very glad to be here in the great State of Michigan. 
 
I have a beautiful black wavy coat, the beautiful part comes from my Foster Mom who just is always telling me how beautiful my coat is.  I have the coat and feet of a Newfie and some of the coloring on my legs as a Shepherd.  I have a wee bit of brown above each eye, and some on my legs and feet.  The vet who came out to draw my blood to make sure I did not have heartworm, and no I do not have heartworm, YEAH, told "Mom" that I was a Lab/Shepherd mix.  Don't  know where the wavy coat comes from, but it does not matter a bit.
 
I love to romp and play outside with my new friends, I am also crate trained and go in and lay down and chew on my bones.  I have had no accidents in the house, and  run to the back door and bark when I need to go out too potty.
 
All in all I am a great dog and would love to meet you, I really think you will just fall in love with me, I mean really what is not to love??  :-))

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
