Description:
Hello! My name is Libby and I am a 4.5 year old Dachshund cross. We aren't exactly sure what I am crossed with but I am told that I kind of have Papillion ears and my face sort of looks like a Golden Retriever but I am small! I am very much a lap dog. I like to hang out with everyone but I also like to explore.
In my foster home, I enjoy sleeping with my foster parents each night in their bed. I lay at the end of the bed and stay there until the morning. When my foster mom takes naps, I like to sleep on her chest or in her lap... sometimes my foster doggy sibling cuddles up with me and we nap together.
I was recently returned to LDDR through no fault of my own. My last family is having a baby and decided that I needed to find a new home. But I love kids! My last family had several children and I loved them all. I would do wonderfully in a home with children as I am such a good girl.
When my foster parents last had me, I was completely potty trained. I am still potty trained but I have had a couple of accidents. My foster parents said that this is not uncommon when dogs come to a new home because we are still getting used to the change and trying to remember our manners!
I love to play outside, go on adventures, and I love to swim! I also really love winter time because I like to dig in the snow and bury my nose in the snow! I absolutely love other dogs as well, they are so much fun to play with! And my foster parents have kitties and I am great with them as well, I don't bother them.
Basically, my foster parents say that I am one of the best dogs ever! I hope to hear from you soon. If you have any questions, feel free to email my foster mom at kelli.grazi@yahoo.com
Love,
Libby
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Libby - ADOPTED 11.14.18 (click to see larger version): |
