Description:
Mandy is a sweet, energetic, young dog. She is so happy and playful. She absolutely loves the water and loves to run. She loves to play with her toys but loves her ball best. She is very playful with other dogs and is great with kids. Mandy has never been around cats so we are not sure if she would be ok living with cats but she does love to chase squirrels. She knows a few tricks like sit, stay, down, heel, and shake.  Her mom was an English Setter and her dad was a Black Lab and they were both on the small side which is why she stayed so small. She is crate trained, housebroken, fixed, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and never chews on things that doesn’t belong to her. Mandy has not been in a shelter and has only had one family. They had to give her up because they realized a young dog was too much work for a couple at their age. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

 

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
