Description:
I’m Candy Corn: 50 pounds of love, cuddles, and affection. I love so many things it’s hard to get started. I love people, cuddling, treats, walks, going for rides, my dog bed, having my belly rubbed, chewing on bones – did I mention I love people? I have a sweet-natured demeanor. I am gentle and patient with my foster parents. Sometimes I like to play rough with my foster dog sister. If you pet me, I will rest my head in your lap and never leave your side. I rarely bark, even when in my cage. I can even sit very still while waiting for a treat! I am very curious about other dogs and if you give me time to get to know them I will play with them and kiss them all over. I currently live with my two foster parents and their dog. Sometimes I just follow them around the house and give kisses any time they look at me. I love to be loved! I would rather not be in a shelter again L I love being with people and living in a warm house with my warm dog bed. My foster parents can even tell; I run to them smiling and just happy to be cuddled. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
