Description:
Daisy is a three year old terrier mix who is 20lbs of love and cuddles.  Daisy is crate trained, potty trained, spayed and loves to go for walks.  Currently she is getting one 1 mile walk a day but would love someone who could walk her twice a day; she has medium energy, can go a day without a walk but is more likely to get into mischief if not exercised.  Daisy is working on her leash skills; she is quite smart but a bit stubborn so Daisy needs reminders that she is not the boss.  Daisy is also working on basic training, again, she is VERY smart but a bit stubborn so a firm owner is needed, Daisy is a great girl but if she is left to rule the house she will become that little yappy dog no one but he owner likes.  Daisy would benefit greatly from basic obedience classes; in fact, I believe she would thrive in class.  She is social and wants someone to direct her although she doesn’t know it yet.  Daisy does like to play with other dogs, gets along with bigger dogs, can bully smaller dogs and Daisy does tend to play on the rougher side so please keep this in mind if you have another dog.  Daisy will bark but is very easily corrected.  I would like to stress again how smart she is, Daisy is a diamond in the rough who needs someone who will be consistent with her and with basic training.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at jdbuczko@wowway.com

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
