Description:
Hi! My name is Josh and I am about 10-12 months old with a bit of Dalmatian in me. When you meet me you will see the spots on my back.

If you are looking for a laid back, non aggressive guy, then I am the one for you!  I have dog and cats in my foster home and I am good with both. I play with my dog sisters but the cats don't want to play, they just sleep.  Sharing my toys and my bed is a good feeling but I am ready for my forever home.

I am crate trained but I would rather sleep on my doggie bed in the living room. I don't jump up on people when they come over and I never jump on the beds.  Leash walks are fun while learning my neighborhood and learning leash manners too. My foster mom said I am doing great.  Do you have kids because I love kids!!!   When they give me treats I can them very gently as I am a polite boy.

I don't bark much and almost have potty training mastered with only a couple of accidents.  I adore playing fetch with the ball in the backyard or running around with my stuffed animals..soooo much fun! My foster mom is a runner so we have been going out for early morning runs which I am loving.   We haven't done long runs yet but I am working on my distance.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
