Description:
This handsome and adorable little boy is Carlos! He is a 7 year old purebred neutered Papillon. Being a lap dog, he was quite spoiled and loves to be next to his people and have his belly rubbed. He was crate trained, housebroken, knows how to sit, lie down and roll over sometimes too! Carlos loves to ride in the car and goes for walks, he does a little dance when you get his leash out :) Used to live in a home where he was basically a one-person dog, but he loves people and gets along well with dogs and cats! He generally doesn't seem to care about other animals. He will bark when people come to the door, but quickly quiets down, and while he can seem a little shy he really likes to be around all people. Young children make him very nervous, so he would do best in a home with no children, or older ones who won't yank on his adorable fluffy ears! If anyone is looking for a super cute and sweet little cuddle buddy, Carlos is your guy.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
