Description:
Hi, I’m Natasha, and I like warm hugs! I’m a sweet, mature adult, beagle mix dog. People also call me Tasha. I like everyone and hope people pet me when I meet them. I am calm but love attention. I’m just great company! I’m good with other dogs too. I’m a very good girl. I ended up at a shelter in Ohio when my dad and I lost our home. Dad cried when he left me there. No one offered to adopt me from the shelter so my foster mom pulled me into this rescue on the day I was set to be euthanized. Horrors! But, I am so happy to be out of the shelter and with my foster family! My dad trained me well for this adventure into finding my second family. I have some of my vet records with me and my foster mom will pass them along. I’m very patient and well behaved. I’m house trained. I don’t bother anything in my foster family’s house. I don’t use a crate. I sleep on my dog bed at night but I would rather sleep with someone if you will let me. I live in a foster home with three children, ages 3, 7, and 10 years old. I’m doing well with them, but I must have been around children before because I correct them quickly if they are too rough with me. I give him kisses! I also happily greet everyone when they come home. But, if you want to take me with you, I do like care rides. I like to sniff around outside but I am not a runner. I have fair leash walking skills. I don’t walk too fast or pull my foster mom down the road. I have a cute little waddle. I have a wide stance and my foster mom does not think I would do well in a home with lots of stairs. I get around fine but stairs don’t seem easy for me. I either had a previous injury or might be developing arthritis. I need a family who will care for me for the rest of my life, and, in return, I’ll be great, sweet company. Might you be my forever family and let me love you!
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
