Description:
Jackson is a friendly, outgoing, happy go lucky Lab mix boy. He is the cutest, well mannered, loving Lab! He is smart and will do anything for a treat. He loves to play with dogs and cats. He would do best in a home as the only dog and with old kids. He is only 2 1/2 years old and is just coming into his own. He is housebroken, well behaved in the house, crate trained, and knows commands. Jackson loves to play and he rides well in the car.  Jackson is very mild mannered and good natured.  He is looking for a forever home where he can relax and enjoy being a dog.  He is 50 pounds, so just the right size for a family dog.  He could easily live in the suburbs with a fenced yard, in the country, or in an apartment with regular walks.  He's really not picky as long as he has someone to love who will love him back.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
