Description:
Meet beautiful Bell (aka Bailey), a friendly and loving Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. This sweet girl was adopted into a loving home, where she was a cherished family member. Unfortunately, her adoptive Mom was diagnosed with a severe allergy to dogs. So Bell needs to be re-homed.

Less than a year old, Bell still has that puppy playfulness but also knows so much from her time spent with her first family: she is housebroken and crate trained. She bonds well with all family members and enjoys an active household. She would also do very well with another dog to wrestle and play tug-o-war with, she has some separation anxiety when left completely alone. Since she has a lot of energy, it is recommended she goes through some obedience training or even agility work. Her breed excels when they have a job to do, which would alleviate a lot of her anxiety and extra energy. Walking and playing hockey with the teenager in her previous home were her two favorite activities. When playtime is over, Bell turns into quite the snuggler, and loves to cuddle with someone on the couch.

This dog loves playtime, craves human companionship, carrots and dog cookies! Bell does have an allergy to corn, so food containing that should be avoided.

If you have an active home with a fenced-in yard, and are seeking an active family dog with tons of love to give, contact LDDR and ask about Bell. (Tennis ball not required, but it would be welcomed!)

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
