Description:

Hi there, my name is Ellie. I am a female Lab and Border collie mix. I am 3 months old. I love to be with people and I am very smart. I am great with other dogs and don't seem to mind these furry things my foster family calls cats. I am kid tested and approved. I am working on my potty training and doing well with it. I am crated when my foster family is not at home or when they sleep because I am a puppy and can get into things. I would love to go to a puppy class. I am also working on my leash skills and I am working on my "sit". I have shown no signs of aggression with food. I am not yet spayed because I am too young yet. I am up to date on my shots and look forward to meeting my forever family very soon.

If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application and you may also email my foster mom @ lddr.katie.reynolds.foster@gmail.com

Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive  preference

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
