Description:

Hi, my name is Gabe. I am a Black lab mix who loves everyone. I just now came to the rescue after sitting in a shelter for awhile. I love to play with anyone willing to play with me. I will roll over on my back for all the belly rubs you're willing to give me. I need a little work on my jumping, just because I am so excited to finally have another family to be with. I do good with kids and just want them to pet me. I do know the command sit, am house trained, crate trained, and I am just an awesome lover. I like to be right by your side no matter where you are and willl sit right by your feet. I am good with other dogs and would love to live in a home with another playmate or even with just a family that will take me for walks and show me all the love that I will give them. I have a gorgeous black coat with white markings. I am stunning in person and my personality is as GREAT as My LOOKS! Looking for a Black Lab that will  be your forever new companion...I am IT!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
