Description:
Happy Feet got her name because not only is she black and white but she is forever happy and she loves to dance around in joy. She is a great pup! Her mother was an abandoned pit bull and her father was a gorgeous pedigreed pit bull from a fancy kennel. It was an "oops!" litter that produced some very nice puppies.
Happy Feet was raised with 6 kids, including one year old twins, and she loves children. She was also raised with several big dogs and she loves to play with other dogs. She is very friendly, outgoing, playful, affectionate, and likes to cuddle. She is well behaved and housebroken. Happy Feet is good with kids, dogs, and cats-she loves cats but can't figure out why they don't love her back as much as she loves them. She loves to play ball and fetch and to play with dog toys. S he has learned to sit and to shake hands on command and is a happy, eager to please, and well socialized pup. Happy Feet has had shots for distemper, parvo, lepto, bordetella, and rabies. She will need another set of booster shots and she's not yet spayed. If you are looking for a puppy with a very sweet temperament, Happy Feet is your girl. She'd love to have a home with a nice big fenced yard and some kids to play with. A doggie brother or sister would be OK too.
Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive preference
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
