Description:
Hello I'm Napolean Bonaparte. The nice people that picked me up after I wandered to a home dragging my weak back legs named me.
They gave me my first name and LDDR that offered to take me in added the last name. I don't really know it so you can give me a new name. I'm cool with that.
The kind lady that cared for me and took me to work each day to make sure I was massaged and did my physical therapy found a large bruise on my underside. She held me close and hugged me and asked me why anyone would kick me. I couldn't answer...I was just happy to be in loving arms. They took me to the vet and found nothing really wrong with me but helped me gain strength in them and now I can walk. Because of my ruff start, my foster mom will be taking me to the vet to have them look at me real good to be sure I am all ok! I like vets...they are very nice to me! I'm hoping my forever family will be extra kind and pay close attention to my heath as I grow big.
I'm little now but will grow big. maybe around 50-60 lbs. and they are guessing I am shepherd collie mix. But no one knows for sure, just guessing by my cute fluffy coat and handsome markings. I am looking for a special family to offer me a forever home with them. A family that would be willing to help me if anything in the future happens to my legs or hips. Just in case. I am good with cats, dogs and kids...but would be thrilled to attend puppy classes with you so we both learn what a great pup and dog I can be. I am not potty trained but trust my family will help me go potty in the right place. If you think you can be my special person...please fill out an application and my foster mom will set up a play date for us. And hey, thanks for wanting to adopt a little rescue puppy like myself and not go to a breeder or pet store to make new puppies...when there are perfectly good pups like me hoping for wonderful homes!
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Napoleon Bonaparte - ADOPTED 09.12.14 (click to see larger version):
