Description:
Hi, My name is Meko. My brother and I found ourselves at a horrible shelter at just 6 weeks of age. We were dumped off there, to be put down, by bad owners that didn't know what to do with us. They didn't get our parents fixed and our short lives were going to come to a sure end. Thankfully, several ANGELS helped us get to the safety of a foster home with LDDR. I really like being at our foster home. There are many playmates here. We have two older dogs, a furry Kitty, and a 6 year old boy to play with. My foster mom says she's not certain what breed we are but we're DARNED Cute and Loaded with Kisses. Judging by the size of our paws and how small we are at this age, she says we will get to be around 45 lbs (give or take) I'm a good boy with Lots of Love to give. I am a good pup but like to jump up to give kisses and play. It is not  recommended we go to families with children under the age of six.  I have lots of puppy energy but I settle down nicely when picked and snuggle in your arms. Foster Mom says I am a smart little whippersnapper, paper trained, I sleep in the crate all night and I eat like a CHAMP! I am looking for a family to love me even after I'm not a cute puppy anymore. I promise to be devoted to you for the next 10-15 years, Love you more than myself, do everything in my power to make you happy. All I ask for in return......that you do the same for me.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
