Description:
Hi my name is Joanna! I am a purebred Rottweiler and also happen to have a great disposition and personality along with great manners!  I had a pesky little pup crawling all over me at the vet's office and I did the right thing, I was completely ok with it and I let him do his puppy nonsense to me. I ride well in a car, am housebroken and would very much love to have a home for the holidays. Please come meet me you will not be disappointed!

Update:  Joanna has gone through her heartworm treatment and is doing wonderful. Joanna is the best companion anyone could ask for! She is sweet, gets along with all her foster siblings both big and small, she does resource guard her chewy,  and her toys, but she does not bite just  growles.  She would be happy as the only dog so she could soak up all the attention, but she is okay with sharing too. She rides great in the car and is a great cuddle bug! She excepts petting from strangers on the street with grace. Joanna ( JoJo) is just an around wonderful girl!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
