Description:

Lovanna is a sweet, easy-going girl that gets along with everyone: dogs, people, kids, cats, and even squirrels! She is a little shy but warms up quickly. She really loves to be with people. She is great on the leash and a fast learner. A fence is preferable, but not necessary because she doesn’t try to run away. She just wants to hang out with her owners. She is medium in size- a great dog for any size house or apartment.  She is playful when engaged. She likes to fetch a ball or Frisbee, but is otherwise calm and relaxed. She lives to play with her toys and go for walks. She does not chew on furniture or anything. She appears to be house trained will whine then bark to go out. She likes to snuggle up next to you on the couch or lay at your feet. Lovanna is the perfect faithful companion.  Oh and if you like winter sports she really likes to watch downhill ski racing! She needs a healthy diet and lots of love so that she can put on a few pounds and get that lustrous coat in good shape!  Her shining personality will win your heart!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
