Meet Lilah, she is a bout  40lb s , 10  month  old  American Pitbull Terrier mix  current  on all vaccines and has been spayed.   Her coat is black and white but if you look close the black has lots of dark brown mixed in it. She is the perfect mix of playful puppy and little snuggle bug.  She  has passed temperament testing,  is c rate trained, house broken , great with dogs  (unsure about cats)  and kids  and lov es  her tennis ball and rope.  She is just a pup so she is still learning basic commands but knows how to sit and is very well behaved.

Lilah’s  owner moved and  left  her  behind ,   s he ended up at  Oakland County Animal Control .   Lilah was saved just before her time was up at OCAC.  When  picked her up from the shelter she was so  grateful that  she covered me with kisses. She is a complete love bug and is always happy to be with  you. If you think Lilah would be a good fit for your family please fill out an application or come visit her at an adoption event.  Please check breed restrictions in your area before filling out application.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
