Description:
Oliver and Oscar are Chihuahua/Lab mixes. They will be 1 year old on Dec 4th. Oliver weighs approx 15lbs and Oscar weighs approx 25lbs. They are brothers and absolutely love each other. They have never been apart so we are hoping to find them their forever home together. It's hard to believe they are brothers, Oliver looks like a Chi mix and Oscar looks like a mini Lab. They are both good with elementary aged kids and older and are good with cats. They are good with other dogs too and love running around playing with them. Oliver just takes a little more time to warm up to them. Both are house trained, neutered, current with their vaccinations, and microchipped. Oscar is shy at first but once he gets to know you, he is a little lover! Oscar was born with only has one eye but it does not effect him one bit! Oliver is a little guard dog- a little Napoleon, trying to boss everyone around and Oscar is as sweet as can be! They are both great little dogs and so sweet...and adorable!
They have adjusted quite well to their foster home. They are playing with my dog, and are leaving the cats alone. They love to cuddle! They just love being close to people, and love to follow me around, but they are fine in the crate too, they go right in and don't whine at all. Very good dogs! Won't you be the one to give Oliver and Oscar a place in your home and heart???
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
