Description:
Chocolate is a wonderful boy who likes to play like most puppies. He has been good with children of all ages, other dogs/ puppies. He has been in contact with a cat and has never done anything to lead to the conclusion that he could not live with cats as well. He is crate trained, house broken for as much as a puppy can be, UTD on shots and  neutered. he is just adorable in person and he is not a barker. He has no dominate qualities at all and would be GREAT in a family with children maybe even as a first pet. He does well in the house and enjoys playing with everyone. Previously chocolate was found on the streets by his foster mom, he was following some men and children and they were kicking him to make him stop following them. He was quickly scooped up and put into his foster moms van. He did not have a collar or tags so he was kept at his foster moms house while searching for his owner. His owner never came looking for him so he was put into Last Day Dog Rescue and he has been waiting for his forever family.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
