Description:
This cute little guy is Orion. Orion is a happy fella who is eager to learn and please and who also loves everyone. He would be great for just about any family. Orion gets along with other dogs and is currently living with several. Orion is potty trained as well as crate trained. It is suggested that Orion be crated while his owners are away due to anxiety from being without his people. Some basic commands have been learned and he would benefit from some more training courses with his new family. This is a wonderful way to bond but also help him become his best self and teach you how to be the consistent owner he needs. Orion loves going for walks, running around in the yard and chasing critters. Orion was successfully treated for heart worm and has not caused any long term affects or concerns. He is lively and acts much younger than his age. Due to HW however, he cannot be neutered for a few more months, which is covered in his adoption cost. If you are looking for a sweet family dog or better yet, a dog to keep you stay at home parents or retired couples company, Orion is your man!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
