Beauty is a short stout girl who loves attention and wants to be as close as she can be. She loves to sit right on your foot. She is housebroken, crate trained, GREAT with people and CHILDREN of ALL AGES. She would love to be in a family where she could have children to pet her all day long. She loves belly rubs. She is a calmer dog who doesn't need long walks to keep her busy she would be happy just to lay by you on your couch. She will play and chew on a few toys but she is not a big chewer. She knows how to sit,and stay. She  is NOT a jumper and comes Great to her name, She is easy to have around as a companion. BEAUTY is looking for the LOVE of a permanent family. Beauty did not start off with the best of a life. She was abandoned at animal control for a long time and was due to be euthanized when she was pulled into Last Day Dog Rescue. The volunteers at the shelter could not let  that happen because she was so loving despite her attitude towards some other dogs. She is selective on dogs so it would be best if she was the only dog or the dogs were a match in the home, Beauty walks well on leash and follows verbal command. She recently was a part of a training video and did GREAT with other dogs walking by on a leash but will need a handler who can use those corrections and the training tips when on a leash around other new dogs. Beauty is LOOKING for the LOVING family she deserves. She will be your BEST FRIEND and COMPANION!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
