Description:
Hi there! My name is Sammie Jo and I'm a certified cuddle bug looking for a second chance at life! I love people and just love to be where the action is. I have lots of energy for walks or runs, but also settle down very nicely. If there's a blanket laying on the ground, I will happily bury myself into it for a nice, cozy nap.
I would love to find my forever home and have been training very hard to make sure I would be a great fit for a family. I'm house trained and crate trained. I love the way human food smells, but I'm happy with my dog food so I never beg. I love doggie treats too, so I'm willing to show you my excellent manners if maybe I get one after?
I get along great with kids! I prefer being your one and only so it's best for me to the only doggie in my home and I don't like the little furry critters called cats and cannot live in a house that has any.
I would love to meet you and make you laugh! I've been told my yoga stretches I do every morning when I wake up are very funny. Also, I've been told I'm perfect for snuggling in this cold winter. I think it's because I love being toasty warm and keeping my human toasty warm too!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me, I hope I get to meet you soon...my tail wags just thinking about it!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do
our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
