Description:

Little Miss Evie now has more time to blossom and let her true personality come out since all of her babies have gone to their forever homes. She is a really sweet girl who loves  nothing better than to come to you for a good scratch and some kind words. She is still a bit timid with new people but warms quickly. Evie is good with other dogs and plays well with all her foster brothers and sisters even though they are much larger than she. She seems a little shy around children yet. She just lives to threaten any squirrel who comes into her territory. She may be best in a home without cats as she tends to bark at them when she meets them close up. A secured fenced in yard would be best for Evie as she is a bit of an escape artist. She loves to go for walks and does well on a lead.

If you have a little live to give and a few short walks Evie may be the girl for you.

*Evie is the Mom of the Oh Litter

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
