Description:
I came to live with my foster family on Thanksgiving Day along with my 7 pups. I was originally being cared for in a hoarders home. Because she had no heat and water I lost several of my babies. So getting into my new foster home was like moving into a Doggy Hilton. I had food, water, heat and toys! My babies became warm, fat and happy! I was a very happy Mama! But now the babies are gone, I finally get to be with my foster brothers and sister and my 2 legged foster family! I am gaining back my girlish figure and Foster Mama Mandy says it’s time to work on ME! I am a calm, sweet and fairly low energy girl. I am Heartworm positive which I guess is not good. But FM Mandy says I have a very mild case and I will only need a short treatment. I am hoping to find my forever home soon. I LOVE other dogs! FM Mandy also found out that I really like cats! I love people! I am just, an all around awesome dog, I’ve heard! I love to cuddle, play with toys, go for walks, I love taking care of FM Mandy’s other foster pups and being their “foster” Mom! I am working so hard to be good and ALWAYS potty outside and FM Mandy says I have it down pretty good! I only bark if the other dogs barknd I love to play but really I just want to be loved and touched. So, I hope someone takes the time to look at my pics, read my bio and maybe decide I am the dog for them. Though I love my foster family I really want a family of my own! I want my own last name, my own special pillow and toys, I want my own home! Please consider me!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Mama Cass - ADOPTED 03.12.13 (click to see larger version):
