Description:
Please contact Kristin, Willow's foster mom with any questions: bodlek18@gmail.com Willow came in with her two brothers, Ash and Hickory. Willow is vocal when she wants to pet, and loves attention. Her mom was a stray and a kind family took her in when they noticed she was pregnant. Willow has had all her shots and is fixed, ready to go! As soon as you are up in the morning Willow wants to be the center of attention, she will meow politely until you acknowledge her. She gets annoyed by her brothers rough play and tends to want human attention more. Loves to be cuddled and has a motor of a purr! She likes to cuddle before bedtime and wouldn't mind getting scratched and pet until she falls asleep. She loves to be around people, and will follow you from room to room! If you are lounging on the couch, expect to have Willow in your lap she loves that spot. Willow would love a forever home to call her own, could it be yours?
Update: Willow was adopted out and has since returned, she seemed to have missed her brother immensely! She was not happy being away from her brother so now she is back in her fosters home with her brother Hickory. Everything is going well and they love to play together. We will now suggest that Willow be adopted with Hickory or at least to a home with another cat. She seems to need another feline in the home to feel content. Also, her favorite past time is watching the fish in the fish tank, she waits patiently for me to feed them to stir them up. I have a chair next to the tank just so she can get a close up view of the fish action. Please consider adopting Hickory & Willow into your home! They are best friends and would love a forever home to call their own!
Photography by volunteer and animal advocate, Dee Maggio Photography Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of J Litter Willow - ADOPTED 03.16.13 (click to see larger version):
