! Olive has been doing really well in her foster home. She is not as shy and will actually greet people at the door. When she is comfortable in her surroundings she does great, but when you take her out her comfort zone she gets really shy and scared again. She is doing much better with kids. She is not as scared of them anymore, and once she feels comfortable, she will not leave them alone. Now that she has warmed up, she has a lot of energy. She likes to run around and play, chase the kitties around the house, and go on car rides. She is okay with cats, but likes to play and chase them. She is much smaller then my cats and my cats love to wrestle with her and play. If you have a shy/skittish cat, then Olive would not be a good fit. She loves to play with the other dogs and enjoys a good game of tug-o-war, whether it is with the dogs or the kids in the house! I think she would do best in a home with another dog, for she does not seem as timid when other dogs are around. She is crate trained, but really does not need it. She will curl up in bed with her foster parents or kids at night and has no issues. She loves to sleep under the covers and would love to have her own blanket to curl up in. If no blankets are available, then she prefers a nice warm lap to lay on! Olive does not make it to many adoption events, for the large amount of people there, all the other dogs, and noises really make her nervous. You are more then welcome to come meet Olive at her Manchester foster home or we can schedule a meeting elsewhere! Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
