Ms. Darla is an exceptional girl that is affectionate, intelligent, well mannered and eager to please. an extremely SWEET girl!!! Darla is a wondeful caring mama to her 9 Island cuties. Darla was found as a pup by a homeless man that offered her a place to live in the car he was living in (she loves car rides). He cared for her and loved her very much. Local good Samaritans had her vaccinated and looked for a way to have her spayed. By the time he went in to have it done it was too late, she was a couple weeks from delievery. She was offered a home to have her sweet pups and after 6 weeks she had to leave there. Wanting to avoid them all going to the shelter and God only knows what horriable fate that would be for them. They sent out a plea for a rescue group to take her and her pups in. LDDR stepped up. She is a devoted and patient mom even though she is a pup herself barely over a year old. Darl is a friend to everyone. Sitting and offering her paw as if to shake your hand. She is great with other dogs and patient and kind to cats. Loves the attention of children. She likes to be near people, barks when someone enters or knocks on the door. Stops if asked to and a real good girl that is extremely special and deserving of a wonderful life and home! If you feel you can offer her that wonderful life please apply. She is easy to meet in her Northville foster home.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
