Description:
Honeycrisp is a darling 6 lb chi mamma who was taken to a small western Michigan 
shelter as a stray.  She was full of milk, but had no babies with her.  The shelter put 
her with a litter of three little puppies that had come in as strays a few days earlier, 
and she bonded with the scrawny babies, taking care of them until they were fat and 
healthy again.  She's a sweet, young girl - very playful, with a wagging tail and lots of 
kisses.  She has some hair loss due to the pregnancy and maybe flea bites when she wasn't 
being taken care of, but her beautiful long coat is going to fill out now that she's 
getting lots of good nutrition and love.  She can get spayed as soon as her milk dries up 
and she'll be ready to move into a wonderful loving furever home.  Because of her small 
size, she shouldn't be placed with very young children.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
