UPDATE:

This is Patsy! Patsy's owner unfortunately passed away, and none of the family members had the room to take her in. You can tell she was very much loved, and was very use to being next to someone all the time. All she wants to do is cuddle!!! She is a fairly low energy dog. She enjoys playing with her toys, and running around with my dogs, but as soon as you sit down on the couch, she wants to hop right up next to you and sleep. She is use to sleeping in bed with humans, so if you plan to crate her at night, or think she will sleep in a dog bed, then she's not the one for you. She has been through so much, and deserves to continue to be spoiled and loved! Not too long ago, she escaped from a volunteer, was hit by a car, and was missing for 4 days during the nights when it got as low as 20 degrees!!! She was found, and taken straight to the vet. LUCKILY she had a few punctures, scrapes, and a little road rash. Ever since, she's not a fan of being outside for too long. I have to send my dogs outside with her, or I have to go outside so she knows it's okay. She gets along GREAT with dogs, cats and kids!!! However, because of her previously taking off, I'd like to recommend that the home has children over the age of 8 years old. Also, she is crate trained--and we ONLY crate her when we leave the home. She needs some training as far as walking on leash goes. Overall, she is one of the best dogs, and whoever adopts her would be very lucky.  Could you be the right home for Patsy??

She is great with other animals as well as kids. She enjoys going for walks and running around the back yard. She also rides well in the car. She is a quiet girl and doesn't seem to get into any trouble. She is super friendly and really deserves a wonderful family to call her own. If you think you can provide the love and affection this gil so rightly deserves, please fill out an application.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
