4-23 Sammie is a healthy, happy, high energy pup! LOVES life, everything and everyone. She is fearless and exuberant. Yet, she loves to be cuddled and held. When she came with her two sisters she was foster mom favorite. Her happiness just seems to spill over and being around her fills you with joy! She knows her name and is 90% house trained. understands sit but with so much energy is not her favorite thing to do. Walks nicly on a leash and does not jump. She will look like a miniture lab when full grown. Her coat is smooth and shiny, webbed feet for swimming and makes great eye contact. A confide4nt little pup who is just so excited to meet her forever family!

Sammi: She is the medium size sister and is cautious and a sweet personality. She wags her tail at the slightest thing. Looking like a lab she should be a fun loving girl who gets along with everyone!

 The Jersey Shore girls.. :)

These three little sisters are so fortunate to be alive! At the tender age of three weeks they were found on the streets in Tennessee . Animal control took them to a vet to care for them for the mandatory waiting period waiting for owners to claim them after their mother was killed when hit by a car. Being too young to eat or even walk the vet office staff bottle fed them and cared for them. Keeping them safe from harm. After the two weeks, animal control shelter asked for the vet to bring them in to be euthanized as the waiting period was up and no one claimed them. The vet office stalled and hid them away praying for rescue for these little ones. When Last Day Dog Rescue call the vets office to verify information on other rescue dogs  that were rescued from their area and vetted by them. The staff begged to have these three little ones saved. After a long ten hour drive to Michigan by a kind lady that often transports pups to us, they are now safe, healthy, happy and well adjusted. Proof that the vet staff did a great job. These girls will be ready for adoption soon and will be happy to have potential adopters come meet them to set up to adopt them when they turn 8 weeks old! Please fill out an application to make one of these lucky girls even luckier by offering them a forever home.

Sammie is a extremely HAPPY little girl. She makes friends with all she meets,  dogs, puppies, cats and people. Her tail seems to be motorized as it is always going! She loves life and enjoys each new thing she discovers. Loves running outside and loves to be cuddled. Sammie is now 3 1/2 months old and almost 90% potty trained. Has occational pee pee accidents in her crate sometimes when the nights are long. She loves to be around people. Follows her foster mom closely when walking inside or outside. Comes happily when called. She loves to play with her big foster siblings. She plays happily by herself witha  few of her favorite toys. Loves car rides. sits nicley on your lap or in the back by herself. She is a good girl that just wants someone to love her!

UPDATE:  Her two sisters are now adopted and she wants so much to have a forever family of her own. She should look like a mini Lab as she seems to be a mix of Lab and Manchester Terrier. We expect her to be around 40 lbs. when full grown. Samantha is easy to meet at her Northville Foster Home and she attends many adoption events. Please consider making Sammie your forever puppy! She will love you all her life long if you do!!!!!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
