**I am currently very eager to find my home! So, I am involved in the Name Your Own Price Promotion, name your price today & I could be your new family member! Please see our Name Your Own Price Webpage for more info!** RAE IS CURRENTLY IN NEED OF A FOSTER HOME ! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FOSTER RAE, PLEASE FILL OUT A FOSTER APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE, THANK YOU! Please help Rae! This pretty girl needs a family all her own to shower her with love and attention. Rae is sweet, but very timid and anxious, and requires a patient caregiver. Rae is very picky about her doggie friends and would do best in a home with no other dogs. Rae is shy when first meeting new people and it takes her a while to warm up to you. She is most comfortable inside with her family. When outside in the yard, Rae tends to pace, but does has moments of playfulness. Rae's social skills continue to improve and she is much more comfortable with familiar people. Rae is learning that play can be fun, and enjoys running and jumping around outside. She knows some commands including ‘go,’ ‘out,’ and ‘come,’ and is learning ‘sit’ and ‘stay’. Rae does not get on furniture, but does like to rest her head on your leg or couch cushion so she can receive ear rubs. Rae is crated trained and will go to her crate on her own to rest. Any family interested in adopting Rae must understand that she may never be the kind of dog that can be taken to social events, dog parks, or let off-leash in an unsecured environment due to her sensitive and timid personality. But if a family is looking for a devoted, happy-go-lucky, home-body foot warmer, Rae may be your girl. Her soulful eyes and soft fur beg you to cuddle with her, and once she trusts her ‘people’, she will be your friend for life. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Videos of Rae-ADOPTED: Other Pictures of Rae-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):
