Description:
Update 1/19/2011: My foster dad had to move away so I’ve been spending time with my foster mom. She has a puppy over here that I like to play with. She’s a lot bigger than I am so she intimidates me sometimes and I’m not always the friendliest to her- that is something my foster mom is working with me on, so that I become more socialized with other dogs. My foster mom thinks I might go best in a home that doesn’t have any other dogs- because I want to be king of the house! I love hanging out with my foster and her family though! My favorite thing in the world is to fall asleep on my new foster dads lap and to give kisses. I love to sleep! I do it quite often. I’m not the most active of puppies, but it’s probably all the walks my new foster family gives me! I just get tuckered out! At my last vet check up I was 24 pounds! And I just keep growing everyday- I’m definitely going to be a big boy! My foster dad did a great job getting me potty trained, so my new foster mom has been trying hard to keep me going outside and not in the house (I still have accidents every now and then.) I even learned how to sit!
I’m looking for a loving family that will love me forever. Apply for me :)
Hi, I’m Thad. I’m a little bit different than my brothers and sisters. Can you tell? My vet thinks I have a little husky in me, but I promise I’m from the same litter as everybody else. I might look like a tough guy, but I can be a little shy, but I warm up quickly. I like to sit and relax a lot of the time. I think I want to chill and be a surfer when I grow up! This is a litter of eight golden retriever mix pups, mom was the golden retriever, dad most likely a yellow lab. Their hair at adulthood will range from medium lenght to long. The name of the pups are Thaddeus, Tank, Torrence, Thea, Tabitha, Tia, and Tawney . Two boys and six girls Pets should not be thought of as presents at Christmas this should be a well thought out process in adopting a puppy . The person you intend it for may not want a pup or will not want to take care of it after a few days, We strongly recommend a basic puppy training class for all of our puppies so they grow up to be a good dog citizen . Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Za Litter Thaddeus - ADOPTED 01.25.11 (click to see larger version):
