Description:

Hi, I’m Emily!

My foster mom says I’m so smart I could write my own Bio!

Well, I was raised in Ohio by someone that didn’t spend the time or money to get me spayed. I was bored and wanted to play with the neighbor all the time.  The neighbor’s family didn’t take time or money to neuter my friend… so we had babies!  Four times!!! Well the last time my family said they are “sick of me getting pregnant” and took me and my 4-day-old little ones to “the shelter” I was so scared! Scared for me... but more scared for my seven little babies that were completely helpless and so easily ill.  A very nice shelter volunteer took me and my babies into her home until they were old enough to take a long car ride to Michigan where a nice group of people agreed to take us all in, get medical attention, shots, and even alter me, so I never have to be put through this again and of course help us all find forever homes!!!!

My puppies have been adopted fast. They are little cutie pies! But I’m little too. Very little! Some mistake me for my pups and my pups for me. I look like a rottie, but I’m a beagle size. I’m the epitome of a mutt!  I must have 12 different breeds in me! I’m petit … I act like a big dog in some ways yet, sit in your lap like a little dog.

My foster mom was discussing with me what my ideal family would be like and boy did I have lots to list!

1)      Loves me

2)      Likes to take me for car rides… but never leave me in a car on hot days!!!

3)      Would like to invite me in bed at night
4)      Trust me in the house …I will go in a crate but am sad and I never did ANYTHING wrong.

5)      Play with me. I like to fetch, but I also just like to walk around the house with a toy or a paper cup maybe? I’m easy to please

6)      A dog or cat sibling would be fine too. I get along with all types of family members… even little humans! But, I would be OK as an only pet too.

7)      I’d like a family that lets me sit beside them in a chair or on the couch as they watch TV

8)      I am pretty protective and will bark when someone comes to the door or in the house.  But, I stop as soon as you tell me you know they are there.

9)      I just need a little food, (I’m small) water, and of course those little bone shaped treats foster mom always seems to have in her pockets. She says it’s for my pups but always gives me a few.

10)   Someone willing to overlook my puppy baggy tummy…. It will shrink back in time… I LOVE my tummy rubbed by the way!

11)   Most of all… I would love someone that I can love for the rest of my life! That will never take me to a shelter and will find joy in all my playful sweet ways! I won’t disappoint! Foster mom says I’m a very good girl!

Attention Petfinder Users: To learn more about this dog and to fill out an application to adopt, please visit our website at www.lastdaydogrescue.org

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
