Graham is a great foster dog and we enjoy having him around. I recently brought a doggie bed in the house--he knew it was for him and immediately made himself comfortable, as if he’s had one before. He does well on his own in the house for about half a day and seems very comfortable in our fenced yard.  He will need a patient owner that will help him adjust to his forever home if he is to be left alone for a longer period of time each day.  He plays great with my kids.  He’s a big cuddler and will sleep in your bed if you let him.

Graham is overcoming his separation anxiety . While by himself, he does well if he has comfort items like a window, radio and a challenging treat, and can be left alone for a few hours at a time with success!  He is good in the car for errands and prefers to be with his humans. He would do great with a family that is home more than away.  He’s friendly to humans and female dogs.  However, he would do best as the only male dog in the home.  Graham enjoys walks, sleeping by his family, playing fetch with balls, sticks or stuffed animals .

Graham is a great dog.  He is housebroken and knows some basic commands and loves to play fetch in the yard.  I think he’d be receptive to learning so much more! He is great on a leash and enjoys walks.  He has shown no aggression toward my kids (age 5 & 8) or my female dog so far. He doesn’t like to be in a crate and tries to chew his way out. He seems very comfortable and respectful in a home when we are present.  He has moderate energy as he is a young dog and a fenced place to run around safely is good.

His color is Golden Red and he’s a medium sized dog at 52 pounds. He has a short muscular body build. My groomer feels he resembled a shar pei/lab mix because of his mouth, nose, loose skin and coat.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
