Gurgi is 7 yrs old and was actually born in Japan and purchased by an American Family that was living there. They are back in the states now and unfortunately getting a divorce and can no longer care for Gurgi.

Gurgi is a happy, happy little guy. He likes to be where you are and will follow you around. He loves to curl up with you and let you love on him. He is good with kids and dogs-loves other dogs... Really not sure about cats. He has beautiful long hair which will need to be combed regularly. I gave Gurgi a bath and combed out his hair and he was amazingly good. I have only had him a few days and he has had a few accidents in the house but hopefully that will stop as he becomes more comfortable.


Gurgi just wants to have a home again, he came with his Kennel (which he sleeps in at night) food dish, leash and plenty of toys that will go with him. He does need some basic training, he does not always come when called and seems to make a game out of it...fun, fun, fun!!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
