Description:
3/6/10 Fame had his second puppy shots today and rabies and we found out he is a little bit older, he is 16 weeks...getting his adult teeth in!!! He is about 15 lbs now and growing!!His new favorite thing due to the type of dog he is, his instincts take over when he gets a new bone...he has to find a good place to hide it!! He put one in the very back of my closet, and on the second round he got in my dresser drawer and dug out the clothes and put it in the bottom of the drawer then covered it back up again with clothes!! He is very patient and sits and waits for you to be done with what you are doing never barks or whine with anticipation. He will be a great dog to train, very smart! 2/24/10 UPDATE: Fame is such a loving boy. His favorite thing to do is curl up in your lap and just cuddle. His foster mate Fortune runs around like crazy most of the time and he just likes to sit back and watch her. He gives kisses and will follow you where ever you go. He has yet to bark, and is more on the observant side. He is smart and never intrusive. When in the kitchen cooking he curls up between my feet as much as possible and waits until I'm done. He will be a very loyal dog to his future family! 2/20/10 This is Fame! He is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix, he is 2 months old and such a cuddler!! He is very quiet and laid back, loves to be held and wants to be where you are!! He is a very beautiful boy who sits up very pretty and shows off his white chest! Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Fame-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):
