Poor miss Edie has been a victim of this lousy economy, not once, not twice but three times.   We are hoping for her sake she will be adopted into her forever home very soon, as we feel she has been bounced around enough.  There are two things all Edie's previous owners have had in common. The first is having to give her up because of economic conditions beyond their control. The second is being heartbroken about having to give her up.  We certainly understand why.  She is very sweet and easy going.  She loves going for car rides and walks.  She loves sleeping under the blankets at the bottom of the bed by her person's feet.  She is housebroken, crate trained and loves to fetch the ball.  She is very respectful of people and loves kids too.  However, she is not perfect.  She is possessive of her belongings and food around other dogs- but never people. For this reason, we think she would due best as an only dog.  If you are looking for more than just a dog, but a best buddy who will love just being around you and going for rides, and you don't plan on any other dogs, we think we have your girl.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
