Description:

Hero is a really great dog who probaby saved the lives of his 6 puppies .  Hero, his 6 puppies and their mom were left at the side of a road and would have starved , froze this winter, or got hit by cars but someone reported them living near the road Animal control went to pick them up but only saw the mom and Hero, they put mom in truck and tried to get Hero in also to leave but he refused to and kept racing back and forth between them and the field finally the animal control people followed him and he led them to his 6 pups , two of which looked exactly like him . after all the pups were put in truck Hero jumped in , Well this little dog family were slated to be put down as their time was up when a rescue came and got mom and pups but left Hero behind , and he was so upset he began to lose weight . Well we heard about this loyal dog and brought him to us , he is vetted now and needs a home and a family to love him . He is a husky/shepherd mix about 2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds , He has tons of personality and smartness in him . His adoption fee is lower then normal so we can hurry to place this great dog with a lucky family.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
