Piper may be a little plain Jane in the looks department, but she is big with personality! This gal is fun and smart and will keep you entertained. She is a good mix of energy and chill. She loves to fetch a ball, play with a stuffed squeaky toy, or chew on an antler. Her favorite warm weather hobby is hanging out in the fenced backyard on the lookout for squirrels. Piper is good with dogs and would love to live with another. If not, she would benefit from occasional play dates or days spent at doggy day care so she can remain socialized. She is likely good with children, but may be a bit much for the wee ones. She really is a gentle dog, just a little puppy crazy at times - Zoomies - LOL. Piper loves walks and being with her people. She does bark at unfamiliar noises so not a good fit for apartment living. Her fur is soft like velvet and she loves to have her belly rubbed. This is one smart girl! She quickly learned sit, down, shake and is currently enrolled in a Teenage Manners class. Piper's a natural and eager to please. Piper is spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever home. Please remember that after you submit an application, a vet check will be done so it may take several days before you hear from a member of the LDDR team. Initial contact will often be via email. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
