Radar joined LDDR in Fall 2009.

1/2/2010: Radar is an excellent boy. He is 49 lbs now and around 9 months old. He is crate trained and actually is a great sleeper.  We keep his crate in our room, so at night he is not alone. Radar is great on a leash and is pretty well housebroken as long as you
take him out frequently. He is able to hold it in his crate all day when we are at work. In general he is a submissive dog. He is not very good with cats, however we have managed that issue by separating our cats into the basement when he is out and about in the house with us. He is excellent with kids and mainly just wants to lick them. He is a little afraid of males with deep voices that wear hats. He tends to growl at these type of people, although once you remove the hat he does better. He definitely can pick up on a person that is afraid of dogs. Radar loves to chew on Nylabones. He mainly just wants to be in mine or my husbands lap sleeping if he can. He is honestly a big lover of a dog in general.

12/1/2009: Radar was found wandering down a country road probably looking for his owner and he could not find them. Radar is just a happy happy young dog who will need someone to keep him busy and occupied as he wants to play and run in a fenced yard . He is fine with other dogs and wants to make friends with everyone. He is 8 months old, weighs about 32 pounds, is a beautiful chestnut and white color , and is a boxer/bulldog mix. His adoption fee is $175.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
